Matt Bilderback has been competing in disc since 2006 with the adoption of his rescue border collie Buddy. He has found a lot of success in the sport thanks to years of dedication to training, and has passed along this information through training classes and workshops since 2010. He has worked diligently to grow the sport in his region and was a major contributor to the explosion of new teams in central Ohio. Matt enjoys not only showcasing the bond he and his dogs have through competitions and performances, but also enjoys helping others create and grow that same bond with their own dogs.
Matt has won world and national titles in freestyle, toss and fetch, and long distance with 5 different dogs in just about every disc dog organization he has competed. World titles include 2024 Skyhoundz Open World Champion and 2024 USDDN Super Pro Toss and Fetch World Champion with Salsa, 2013 Skyhoundz Microdog Open World Champion with Bella, 2013 and 2015 Skyhoundz XD World Champion with Bazooka. National titles include 6x Quadruped Series Champion and 17x Quad winner with Bazooka, Mambo, Sunny & Salsa (most in Quad history). He also has numerous top 3 competitive finishes every year since 2007. Matt continues to work on elevating his skills and is highly competitive at competitions and is skilled in all types of disc games.
